The PS-MPT-MDE Micro Penetrometer is a portable geotechnical testing instrument suitable for the in-situ or indoor determination of liquidity index of general cohesive soils, soft soils, compacted soils, red clay, loess, and a rough estimation of the bearing capacity of the soil.
The PS-MPT-MDE Micro Penetrometer implements the “Test Specification for Micro Penetrometer (CECS 54:93)” of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association.
It can meet the testing needs of various departments in China, such as urban and rural construction, railroad, highway, tunnel, bridge, hydropower, coal, metallurgy, petrochemical, ocean, and so on.
The PS-MPT-MDE Micro Penetrometer consists of 1 digital electrical dynamometer and 3 probes of different specifications. The pressure collected by a digital electrical dynamometer using high-precision pressure sensors, and a built-in circuit program will be converted in combination with the size of the vanes and then displayed on the LCD screen. The specific parameters of the probe are shown in following table:
