The HGD-800 Drilling Rig is a fully hydraulic top-driving drilling system for offshore geotechnical survey with power converting from the electrical power of vessel. With coring system and downhole CPT system, this drilling rig has multiple functions of sampling, CPT testing. It can also fulfill the high efficiency RC drilling.

The top drive has passive heave compensation system. The drilling rig could operate in classified Grade 3(slight) weave level(0.5≤Hs<1.25).
