Participated in Geotechnical Engineering of Islet and Youth Geoscience Conferences

Peneson was invited to participate in the 7th National Geotechnical Engineering of Islet Academic Conference and the 9th Youth Geoscience Conference.

The 7th National Geotechnical Engineering of Islet Academic Conference was held in Zhuhai City from May 10 to 12, 2024. The conference was jointly hosted by the Chinese Institution of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering - China Civil Engineering Society and Sun Yat-sen University. More than 600 experts and scholars from 85 universities, 8 research institutions, 18 technology companies attended the conference. The conference discussed geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, ecological and environmental problems.

The 9th Youth Geoscience Conference was successfully held at Hall C3, Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 18 to 20, 2024. It was hosted by the Youth Geoscience Conference Council and co-hosted by the Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science (Xiamen University), the Chinese Academy of Urban Environment, and the Third Institute of Oceanography, Ministry of Natural Resources.

This conference is themed "The Book of Land and Sea,Read Together in Youth" and focuses on 20 cutting-edge hot topics in earth science, including Quaternary geology and global change, earth chemistry,geological disasters and engineering geology, ecology and sustainable development, as well as 280 special topics for discussion.

There were more than 4,500 wonderful reports and a series of featured activities such as popularization, discussion, and exhibition. There are more than 6000 participants attending this conference.

The 9th Youth Geoscience Conference

During these two conferences, Peneson's booths were always crowded with visitors, attracting the attention of many experts and scholars. Various onshore and offshore CPT cones, CPT tools, and CPT systems are presented, including seabed CPT system PeneVector-III, ownhole CPT system PeneWisor-I, portable vane shear tester PS-VST-PBE, mini vane shear tester PS-VST-MDE, micro penetrometer PS-VST-MDE, and data acquisition device PeneLoger-I.
