PeneVector-IV Static Vibro-sampler
The PeneVector-lV Static Vibro-sampler is an in-situ tester with combined functions of static sampling, vibration sampling and in-situ testing for offshore geological survey. It is specially suitable for complicated subsea geological conditions. Compared with conventional gravity sampler, the PeneVector-IV Static Vibro-sampler has higher fidelity and higher efficiency with deeper working depth when sampling sediments.
It can be widely used in engineering geological survey, regional geological survey, mineral resources survey, pipeline survey, environmental survey and evaluation, marine science research and other applications.
Product features:
● Static Sampling
The horizontally arranged double friction wheels push sampling probe rod into the soil at constant rate. The sampling process has low disturbance and high fidelity.
● Vibration Sampling
Vibration sampling has been added through horizontally aligned dual vibration electrical-motors on static push sampling.
The vibration reduces the friction resistance between the sampling probe rod and the soil greatly to facilitate penetration.
The vibration of sand makes the sediment around the sampling pipe liquefied for easy penetration.
The frequency could be adjusted according to the formation, which causes the sampling pipe to resonate with the surrounding formation and facilitate penetration.
● In-situ Test
The probe rod is penetrated into the formation through the horizontally aligned double friction wheels to obtain the data in situ. Through various cones or attached transducers, it will obtain the formation mechanical data and other multi-parameters such as thermal, optical, electrical data, which has the advantages of high fidelity, high accuracy, high efficiency and environment-friendly, etc.
