Field Vane Shear Tester
The PS-VST-FM Field Vane Shear Tester is used to determine the natural shear strength of saturated soft clay directly in the engineering field, and can also be used with drilling equipment, the test depth can reach more than 30m.
The Field Vane Shear Tester consists of a torque steel ring, adapter, threaded guide rod, extension rod, vane head, and other components, with manual/digital modes, shear strength test range of 0~260kPa, and test accuracy better than 3%.

♦All-steel structure which is sturdy and durable, the weight of the whole set is 40kg.
♦It’s in line with international standards of vane and can be customized according to clients’ needs.
♦Standard Configuration:
Φ75mm×150mm×3mm
Φ50mm×100mm×2mm
♦The design of a manually decelerated torque steel ring, with a maximum torque of 80Nm and measuring resolution of 0.55Nm.
♦The all-digital automatic measuring system can be modified, and the measuring data can be uploaded to a computer via USB.
♦The design of a professional guide bar (Φ30mm×1040mm) is convenient for vane penetration into the soil to be measured.
♦Size of the instrument: 430×910×220mm(L×W×H).
♦It’s equipped with a professional portable case that is easy to place and transport.
