The PS-VST-H Hammer Vane Shear Tester is used to test the undrained shear strength of clay and remoulded soil directly at the engineering site, it is a kind of geotechnical in-situ testing instrument.
The whole set of a tester consists of 1 digital torquemeter, 10 extension rods, 2 different sizes of vane heads, 1 clutch and 1 puller, and other components. The maximum testing depth is 10m, and the testing range is 0 ~ 80kPa and 0 ~ 160kPa using two different plate heads, the testing accuracy is better than ±3%.
