PeneVector-I Seabed CPT System

The PeneVector-I seabed Cone Penetration Test (CPT) system is suitable for subsea sediment and environment survey with water depths to 3000 m. The penetration depth is up to 30m under the seafloor. With different cones, it can obtain the mechanical, thermal, optical, electrical and acoustic data.

The seabed CPT system is a kind of underwater equipment with a penetration device working on the seabed surface. The penetration drive uses rolling, friction wheel and hydraulic cylinder type to form PeneVector-I, PeneVector-II, PeneVector-III and PeneVector-IV four kinds of specialized equipment suitable for different applications.

PeneVector-III Heavy Seabed CPT System

The seabed CPT system is a kind of underwater equipment with a penetration device working on the seabed surface. The penetration drive uses rolling, friction wheel and hydraulic cylinder type to form PeneVector-I, PeneVector-II, PeneVector-III and PeneVector-IV four kinds of specialized equipment suitable for different applications.

PeneVector-IV Static Vibro-sampler

The PeneVector-lV Static Vibro-sampler is an in-situ tester with combined functions of static sampling, vibration sampling and in-situ testing for offshore geological survey. It is specially suitable for complicated subsea geological conditions. Compared with conventional gravity sampler, the PeneVector-IV Static Vibro-sampler has higher fidelity and higher efficiency with deeper working depth when sampling sediments.

PS-HGD-800 Offshore Geotechnical Drilling Rig

The HGD-800 Drilling Rig is a fully hydraulic top-driving drilling system for offshore geotechnical survey with power converting from the electrical power of vessel. With coring system and downhole CPT system, this drilling rig has multiple functions of sampling, CPT testing. It can also fulfill the high efficiency RC drilling.

PeneWisor Downhole CPT System

The PeneWisor Downhole CPT System is designed for offshore soil testing along with offshore drilling. It is a highly efficient, high-accuracy, low-disturbance solution for offshore geological surveys. With data transferring from the cone to the umbilical cable, the PeneWisor could acquire real-time data along with the drilling operation. The data from this system serves as a foundational reference for the  assessment of foundation stability of offshore structures and the development of marine engineering.

PeneSpear Free-fall CPT System

The PeneSpear Free-fall CPT System is a real-time, and highly efficient seabed in-situ test instrument.The penetration probe is falling into the seabed sediment, and the basic parameters such as cone resistance, sleeve friction and pore water pressure are obtained. Compared with the traditional penetration tool, the speed of penetration of the PeneSpear is not constant, so the real-time data of acceleration and attitude measurement will be added into data acquisition for later data correction. Due to small size, light weight, low cost, the PeneSpear is suitable for wide-area subsurface cable routing survey, oil and gas pipeline survey, marine geological and environmental survey applications.

PenePlater Platform CPT System

The main feature of the PenePlater is that the penetration equipment is mounted on a fixed platform, and the probe rod needs to pass through the water layer from the platform deck before penetrating into the seabed soil during the CPT operation. The datum for the CPT can be taken from either the platform or the seabed surface, and the datum is unique after it has been established.

PeneTruck-I CPT Truck

◆ General truck chassis, suitable for traveling on the road, as well as in the field and construction site which are relatively smooth. ◆ Enclosed compartment with integrated CPT, air-conditioning, lighting, and other systems that can realize all-weather operation. ◆ Double power system, truck moving and CPT operation are completely independent, reducing energy consumption and prolonging service life. ◆ Full hydraulic three-point support leveling system, the maximum leveling capacity is 30°, and the support force is larger than the deadweight. ◆ Full hydraulic three-point counterforce ground anchor system with hydraulic automatic anchoring mode provides a maximum anchoring counterforce of 12t. ◆ Reversing image and borehole image are provided to observe the truck traveling and CPT operation, so as to ensure safety. ◆ Double hydraulic cylinders penetration mode, penetration force 80~250kN, in line with most of the domestic and international standards. ◆ High-precision data acquisition, compatible with PeneLoger and many other data acquisition instruments at home and abroad. ◆ Compatible with international standard cones (5cm², 10cm², 15cm², 20cm²) and resistivity, temperature, tilt, and other types of cones. ◆ High-strength monolithic probe rod with a comprehensive strength of more than 800MPa ensures that the rod in deep-water penetration is not easy to be broken. ◆ Compatible with vane plate, flat dilatometer, inclination, and other in-situ testing of the field survey construction.

PeneTruck-II CPT Crawler

◆ Steel tracks, full-hydraulic drive, gradeability 30°, suitable for harsh construction environments. ◆ Enclosed compartment, equipped with air-conditioning and lighting, 5kW power output is provided, and all-weather operation can be realized. ◆ Full-hydraulic four-point support leveling system, with a maximum leveling capacity of 20° and the support force no less than 20t. ◆ Four-point counterforce ground anchor system, hydraulic anchoring mode, providing maximum penetration counterforce of 12t. ◆ Hydraulic cylinder penetration: double hydraulic cylinder penetration, penetration force 10~20t, penetration speed is continuous and adjustable. ◆ High-precision data acquisition: data acquisition instruments GOLOG of A.P. van den Berg and Peneloger of Peneson are optional. ◆ Compatible with international standard cones (5, 10, 15, 20cm²) and resistivity, temperature, inclination, and other cones. ◆ High-strength integral rod, with comprehensive strength of more than 800MPa, is not easy to break during deep penetration. ◆ Compatible with CPT, vane plate, flat dilatometer, inclination, and other in-situ testing of the field survey construction.

PeneTruck-IIA CPT Crawler

● The length of the CPT Crawler is increased by 800mm, which has less pressure on the ground and more space for operation. ● The diesel engine takes the Dongfeng brand, which increases the power by 30kW and improves the power performance. ● Hydraulic power station adopts variable-speed oil pump, which saves energy and prolongs service life. ● The penetration device adopts the technology of automatic clamping probe rod, which greatly improves the working efficiency. ● Data acquisition system is an optional accessory, which can get comprehensive information on the cone and penetration equipment, and is compatible with products of other internationally renowned brands. ● The CPT cone is a triple-bridge 10cm² one compatible with products of other internationally renowned brands. ● The cone cable is an 18-pin waterproof data cable, compatible with products of other internationally renowned brands.

Conductivity Cone

Resistivity is a basic parameter that characterizes the electrical conductivity of the soil and is one of the inherent characteristic parameters of the soil. It depends on the porosity, pore shape, pore liquid resistivity, saturation, water content, solid particle composition, directionality, and cementation state of the soil. Therefore, resistivity can reflect some special properties such as liquefaction of foundation, porousness, and density of soil.

Wave Velocity Cone

The wave velocity test is one of the main means of geotechnical engineering investigation for seismic effects on engineering sites and foundations. By measuring the shear wave velocity, the shear modulus of the soil can be calculated, which in turn can be used to classify the type, category, and dynamic parameters of the foundation soil and provide a basis for the analysis of the seismic response of the site.

Magneto Cone

Magneto cones are used to detect underground magnetic anomalies and are applicable to search both underground magnetic ores and UXO(unexploded ordnance).
